Asking Obligation
A : Oh my, that looks heavy.
B : Indeed. Can you do me a favor, please?
A : Of course, anything.
B : Would you kindly get me that box cutter so I could bring it to the drama club?

Stating Obligation
A : Was the test hard for you?
B : It wasn't that hard if you studied, but some numbers really did wreck my brain.
A : I didn't think I did well earlier...
B : How can you tell? Anyways, I could help you study, if you'd like.
A : Please do, I appreciate it.
